In interviews, both Joyce and Mario have taken the time to explain exactly how to achieve flawless Kim Kardashian-like skin. Kim has also disclosed a few secrets that fans can mimic to recreate her movie star glow.

According to Mario, Kim first prepares her skin with a rich moisturizer to create a smooth palette. To cover blemishes, Kim blends concealer under her eyes and over any problem areas. Once the concealer has set, Kim applies a thin layer of makeup primer and foundation to her entire face. According to her makeup artists, some of Kim’s favorite foundations are DiorSkin, Sheer Matte by NARS and Make Up For Ever liquid foundation.

On top of Kim’s foundation, she creates a golden glow by applying bronzer to her chin, temples, hairline, jaw and under her cheekbones. Next, she applies a rosy blush to the apples of her cheeks. Kim gives her face some dimension by applying an iridescent highlighter to her cheekbones, under her eyebrows and to the bridge of her nose. Kim isn’t just known for her gorgeous complexion; she is also known for her long lashes and smoky eye makeup. To get ready for an event, Kim’s makeup artists prepare her skin by applying eye shadow primer to her entire eyelid. This keeps her shadow in place and prevents creasing throughout the day.

After the primer sets, Kim applies Mac or Make Up For Ever eye shadow in tan or light grey. To give her that smoky look, Kim adds brown, grey or black shadow to the crease and outer corners of her eye lids. For extra dimension, a light silver or gold shadow is added to Kim’s inner corners and under her lower lashes.

To make her eyes pop, Kim lines both her upper and lower lashes with black eyeliner. Next, Kim swaps her eyeliner for a brown brow pencil and fills in her famously thick eyebrows. Kim finishes her look with several coats of black lengthening mascara, and when she’s feeling especially dramatic, she also adds false lashes to frame her eyes.
