4 Steps to Happiness
Some people see the glass half full while others see it half empty. This metaphor for being an optimistic or pessimistic person is timeless, but no matter what category you fall into you CAN be more happy now.
There are simple things that you can do to improve your mood at any given moment.
Some people are more fulfilled than others, but camplaining and worrying will not help you get what you want out of life. People who worry about the future or have regrets about the past tend to feel more stressed. And stress is one of the leading causes of diseases. Curb your stress and you will be more happy and fulfilled. sure it is alot easier said then done. How do you feel more happy if that doesn’t seem to work? Well try some of these easy to apply steps.
Eat an Energizing Breakfast
You should start everyday with a well-balanced meal. Something that includes protein and fat. Pancakes, coconut peanut butter and eggs is a good healthy and hearty meal. You want to avoid the sugar filled cereal and other empty calories. When you eat a hearty breakfast you are more balanced throughout the day. Your brain can function better and you will most likely be more productive.
Get More Sleep
Maybe you are feeling stressed out because you are always tired. If you are not getting enough sleep your body will run down and you will be more prone to getting sick and diseases. Give your body the rest it needs. If you find yourself feeling very tired at certain times during the day this is your bodies way of saying, “It’s time to take a break.” If you can break away from your desk and take a mini-walk or even a power nap you will feel more relaxed and balanced.
Stay Current on Check Ups
Make sure you are visiting your doctor for an annual check up and visit your dentist every sixth months for routine cleaning. This will help you feel more connected to yourself. When your health is in good order everything else will fall into place.
Smile
Smiling is an easy way to feel better in the moment. If you feel insecure about your smile you may not smile very often. But think about the people who smile a lot, they light up a room and people gravitate towards them. You can be that happy person when you choose to smile more. If you want to improve your smile your dentist can help.
